– Why do you want to participate in the BSUA programme?
– What personal and/or academic background qualifies you for the chosen course(s)?
– What do you expect to gain from the course(s) you are applying to?
– How do you plan to apply the gained knowledge upon completion of the course, e.g. after returning to your home city/country and/or job?

Most of the courses take place in the UdK buildings located in Charlottenburg, however some courses also include interactive outings around the city.
In our online courses you will meet all participants in a virtual classroom. We use usually BigBlueButton for interactive course sessions.
For our online courses you need usually access to internet (good connection), an updated browser (Firefox or Chrome), headset and of course a computer or laptop. We recommend to research some tutorials of BigBlueButton and to check your facilities in advance.
As none of our courses runs longer than a month, a student visa is not required. In most cases, a tourist visa is sufficient for participation in the BSUA.
Please, consult the German consulate in your country to figure out which type of visa you need and which documents have to be provided.
Unfortunately, we can't. As the BSUA offers short-term summer courses and not a full-time education, we are unable to sponsor student visa applications.
