Between June 5th and October 7th, 2016 we invited you to take part in the programme of the Summer University of the Arts Berlin. Again we were able to offer our participants from over 50 different countries a big variety of Workshops in the fields of Fine Arts, Music, Design, Performing Arts, Arts Management and Creative Entrepreneurship as well as Interdisciplinary courses. Our internationally acclaimed lecturers gave their best to broaden our participants's perspective. Here are just a few examples from last year courses:
Fine Arts: Workshop with Valérie Favre & Robert Lucander
In one of our all time classic Workshops these two famous artists gave our participants a deep insight in the field of painting and feedback to their own work. Visits to several museums provided them with a lot of new inspiration.
Music: Opera Audition Preparation Masterclass
These innovative Masterclasses by Cheryl Studer and Gerd Uecker were especially designed to prepare young professional opera singers for the German-speaking Opera scene.
Arts Management: Financing and Touring Performing Art Projects
Designed for emerging artists, managers or producers this Workshop explained the cultural funding process on real life examples.

The coaches and co-founds of Dark Horse Innovation gave the participants a toolkit and confidence to develop their own business ideas.

In precisely patterned exercises the two famous Dramatists David Spencer and John von Düffel taught the participants the essential elements of the dramatist's craft.
