While journalism and non-fiction work with the actual state of society, poetry creates an idea of the (inner) world. Which perspective has not yet been told? How does one take a perspective? What images do storytellers, playwrights, and poets hold for the untold? Their voices create diversity, their view of conditions will determine how generations after us understand the world we live in today.
Participants can bring their text excerpts (in English or German). The course is aimed at beginners and advanced students (although in writing one is always a "beginner"). The workshop consists of writing exercises in which we will further develop (rough) ideas based on questions about one's own positioning in the world.
